Shawn A. DeVries, J.D., M.B.A. is the Founding Attorney of the DeVries Law Firm, P.A. in Jacksonville, FL. He is a Vietnam veteran’s son, whose parents instilled in him a strong sense of personal responsibility and compassion for others. Shawn spent the first 14 years of his career working in the hospitality industry, pampering and pleasing guests. He later attended the Florida Coastal School of Law and created the DeVries Law Firm, P.A. with a focus on treating clients like guests. The firm has grown to include a diverse support staff of about a dozen specialists, two lawyers, and a paralegal.
In addition to his work at the firm, Shawn serves as a Pro-bono Attorney for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc., Vice President of Membership for the Jacksonville Junior Chamber of Commerce, and is a board member for the North Florida Susan G. Komen. He is also a group leader for the Jacksonville Jeff Galloway Running Club and the pacer for the Breast Cancer Marathon and the Walt Disney World Marathon.
